A lot of people want my attention. That’s an unfortunate byproduct of being a local news and sports content creator.
Does it mean I don’t deserve a little privacy? Hence why I’ve avoided publicly putting my phone number out there for folks to contact me.
However I also understand that a lot of folks would like to contact me by text, or want the personal conversation of a phone call. Maybe even to just report some news faster than they can type out an email.
In an effort to ensure that regular contact can be made easily, I have finally gotten my act together and signed up for a Google Voice phone number for local users and businesses to use.
This number will now be available at (706) 509-0224.
A couple of notes about this phone number:
I probably won’t answer immediately, so you’ll do best by leaving a voicemail and waiting for me to get back to you shortly. It shouldn’t take long unless I’m in the middle of a meeting or something important.
Text messaging is honestly the best way to find me, so use that first before making a call. Especially if you want to share news, or have a problem with your subscription service on Myrick Multimedia sites that require payment to interact with content.
I appreciate not everyone likes what I have to write, especially when being written about when it comes to incidents that happen in the community that may not be flattering to an individual’s character. I understand people want to vent their frustrations when angered about something that happened to them not under their control. This line I’m sure will get complaints on the voicemail or text, but don’t expect a response unless justified with evidence of some kind directly contradicting something I’ve written. Cussing me out? It’ll get deleted. Send threats or promise violence? You’ll be referred momentarily to the proper authorities, and evidence will be handed over to them. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED.
Anyway, I hope to hear from you with good news!
